On The Market: The Dunes In Yorke Peninsula Is An Off-Grid Sanctuary
If South Australia didn’t seem like the obvious choice for a luxurious escape before, The Dunes in Yorke Peninsula may soon correct any/all preconceived notions. Suspended above a “boundless aquamarine seascape” right by two kilometres of “pristine, white-sand beaches”, as you’ll discover over the course of this very article, some things truly are meant to be enjoyed in privacy.
This sprawling 273-acre property located at 400 Coopers Beach Road, Nalyappa was initially constructed circa 2014 in a collaborative effort between owner Peter Michell and renowned architect Max Pritchard. Suffice it to say, it didn’t take long before the Scandanavian-inspired residence earned some recognition from the AIA (Residential Architecture) awards that same year; universally praised as “one of the most unique coastal retreat residences of its kind” in all of Australia.
“Superlatives do little to encapsulate the total privacy and solitude The Dunes provides whilst also supporting the most luxurious of lifestyles without compromise,” reads the brochure description.
“Beyond the stunning architecture, elevated views and luxurious appointment, The Dunes supports a resort-like lifestyle with an infinite scope to expand and personalise all it has to offer.”

The Terricks: Incredible $20m Italianate Hawthorn mansion sells
Melbourne’s prestige market has kicked off the new year with the stunning sale of a jaw-dropping Italianate mansion.
Abercromby’s director Jock Langley would not disclose any details about the price or the buyer of the palatial abode, named The Terricks, at 11 Paterson St, Hawthorn.
The residence was advertised for $21m-$23.1m and sold to a local who knocked out interstate and overseas competition to claim the keys earlier this month.
Mr Langley said unlike many other period homes on the market, the 1882-built residence had been “magnificently” renovated by the vendor prior to the sale.

A Visionary Home Sold: Inside Starchitect I.M. Pei’s New York Residence
His works include the Musée de Louvre’s pyramid in Paris and Doha’s Museum of Modern Art—no wonder then that I.M. Pei’s New York residence is an architecturalGaze up at the façade of this smart, four-story townhouse located in New York‘s prestigious Sutton Place, and its architectural significance may not be immediately obvious. Step inside the classic, moss-green door however, and clues to a revolutionary former owner become instantly more apparent.

How luxury property filmmaker Goldeneye Media went global without going viral
In an era where we are used to having intimate access to the lifestyles of the rich and the famous via social media, a little privacy goes a long way. The public demands to know intimate details of their favourite celebrities’ beauty routines, social lives, outfits and more.
But, aside from glimpses when publications get a private tour of the mansions of celebrities like Kim Kardashian, we rarely get to see inside the homes of the ultra-rich.
And perhaps for good reason; our homes are one of the last bastions of privacy.

Former First Lady of the United States Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was known for restoring the White House, her love of arts and culture and an inimitable sense of style.
It’s no surprise then that her Martha’s Vineyard estate, listed for US$65 million (AU$93 million) shares the same elegance.
The property, purchased by Onassis in 1979, was a former sheep farm with landscapes designed by designer Rachel Bunny Mellon who also redesigned the White House Rose Garden while Onassis was First Lady.
